About Telegram Channel Finder

Telegram Channel Finder (built by the Kanalnama data team) is an independent, English-language directory of public Telegram channels. We are a small data-engineering team that builds crawlers to collect publicly available information — channel titles, descriptions, categories and subscriber counts — and turns it into clean, comparable statistics.

What we do

• Crawl: our worker discovers public channels through open Telegram web pages and mention graphs, then revisits each profile on a rolling schedule.
• Classify: an evidence-based classifier reads public titles and descriptions and assigns each channel to one of 20+ topics, from news to technology.
• Publish: every category page shows an ordered list with verified member counts; every channel gets its own statistics profile.

Editorial principles

Rankings are produced from data, not paid placements. We never accept money to move a channel up a list. When a channel cannot be classified with confidence we say so instead of guessing.
